Miles Mossop Sam is a limited release wine from Miles' best vineyards. It is made from 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc. It is a dark wine with intense black berry fruit, black cherry and dark bramble fruit which is perfectly balanced with opulent oak notes of cedar, tobacco leaf and vanilla. This is a wine of immense class and one of South Africa’s finest.

Miles has been making his own wine since 2004 and until 2018 also held down the position of head winemaker at Tokara. In the past few years, he has expanded both his production and range and now, after leaving Tokara, is solely focused on his own wines. Miles has a very simple approach which starts with sourcing the best grapes from the best vineyards and picking them at the right time. Production is limited to 80 tons and focuses on Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. These are truly handcrafted and wonderful wines which bring all the joy and instant pleasure of warmer climate wines together with the elegance and complexity of French wines.
