Gomez Cruzado Rioja El Predilecto is a delightful Garnacha dominated Rioja with fine aromatics and wonderful red fruit flavours. Wild cherry, bramble fruit, plum and dark strawberry all combine to form a complex bouquet that develops over time. Sweet spice notes, darker spice, liquorice and cocoa come through on the palate, which is fine, textured and elegant on the finish. The wine is made from a blend of 65% Garnacha and 35% Tempranillo which is vinified separately before being blended and aged in concrete for six months.
