Tabali Pedregoso Gran Reserva Viognier is a rich and opulent wine from the cooler Limari Valley in Chile. The aromas are typical of the grape with white peach and apricot to the fore, back up by orange, citrus, pear and more candid notes. There is a superb balance of rich fruit and honeyed notes on the palate along with fresh minerality. Bright, brilliant and most importantly very drinkable.
Tabali was established in 2002 and is a pioneer of the cooler region of Limari, which sits on the edge of the Atacama Desert in northern Chile. The mix of limestone rich soils, cooling Pacific winds and temperature fluctuations (Cold nights, hot days) help produce incredibly elegant and balanced wines that are amongst the most exciting in Chile. The team continue to push the boundaries with recent vineyard purchases in Maipo and a sparkling wine project in partnership with Champagne Thienot.
