Ragnaud Sabourin No 20 Reserve Speciale Cognac is a stunning special reserve cognac made from grapes grown exclusively in the finest Cru in the Cognac region - Grande Champagne. It is aged for at least twenty years in French oak, giving it a deep bronze colour, unreal complexity, stunning depth of flavour and a rounded character. The nose is packed with roasted hazelnuts, almonds and nougat along with dried fruit notes. The creamy palate has wonderful wood spice notes, toffee and dried tropical fruit. A cognac to be savoured on special occasions or Tuesday night, whatever works for you.
Ragnaud Sabourin is one of those producers that exudes class and quality in everything they do. They have been producing top quality Cognac since 1850 and are the epitome of luxury craftmanship rather than overpriced, highly marketed junk. Expensive, but brilliant.
