Marquista Manzanilla En Rama is a limited edition bottling from little know Bodegas de Rio in Sanlucar de Barrameda. The Sherry comes from a 44-barrel solera with an average of four years of ageing and is drawn directly from the cask. This is where the term En Rama comes from, which translates as ‘directly from the barrel’. There is no clarification or cold stabilisation.

Bodegas del Rio was founded in 1990 but only started bottling under their own label in 2022. Many of the famous names from Jerez source their wines from here, most notably Lustau. Owned by the Del Rio family, the Bodega owns 13 hectares located in Vina Casilla Verde, in the heart of Miraflores Baja, the most prestigious Pago of Sanlucar de Barrameda.
