The second wine of Chateau Cos d'Estournel, presents a blend of 43% Merlot, 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Petit Verdot, selected from the estate's vineyards based on vine age and soil type. Matured in 50% new oak, it offers a precise and aromatic bouquet with blackberry and wild strawberry notes intertwined with hints of cedar and graphite, the latter becoming more pronounced in the glass. Medium-bodied on the palate with a silky smooth entry and fresh acidity. Subtle layers of tobacco and allspice emerge toward the finish, which gently fans out.
