Domaine A Deux Pinot Noir is a charming and delightful wine from France’s picturesque Loire Valley. It is alive with fresh red berry fruit aromas of strawberry, cherry and darker raspberry notes along with a lifted floral edge, spice and soft vanilla. It has a lot going on for a Pinot Noir at this price point with enough body to partner bigger dishes, but also elegant enough to sip all afternoon long!

Domaine A Deux is a project born out of the friendship of Gerald Vallee, who comes from a long line of winemakers and Francois Xavier Barc, who was the head wine maker at legendary Chinon producer Charles Joguet. Together they bought 24-hectares of vineyards in Saint Aignan-Sur-Cher and set about making a range of fantastic value, tasty wines which fully embodied the terroir and typicity of their grape varieties. The estate is now organic and I’m sure we won’t be able to resist adding more wines from them in the coming years!
