Sourced from a single vineyard 'Monte Lodoletta', a historic site celebrated for its exceptional qualities, the blend features selected grapes from the Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara varieties. Romano Dal Forno, a legendary figure in Valpolicella winemaking, has ascended to the ranks of the world’s most revered producers, earning acclaim from critics around the globe.

The “Monte Lodoletta” is a Valpolicella Superiore that beautifully captures the history and tradition of its territory in a single glass. This wine showcases the extraordinary typicity, elegance, and balance of the region. After harvest, the grapes undergo vinification with extended skin maceration, followed by 36 months of maturation in new barriques. The result is a deep ruby-red wine with an aromas of ripe cherry and red fruit notes, enhanced by hints of dried fruits, Christmas spices and walnuts and almonds. On the palate, it has a harmonious mouthfeel with fine velvety tannins, and a balanced finish that culminates in a dramatically long, fruit-forward aftertaste but with notes of cocoa, currants and sour blackberries.
