Chateau d’Issan 2022 is a beautifully forward and seductive wine with black fruit, blueberry and cassis notes on the nose. There is a luxurious feel to the wine, but also an air of freshness with mint and graphite notes along with the vanilla, mocha and chocolate notes. Elegant, balanced and delicious.

Chateau d’Issan is a beautiful 18th century Chateau (complete with moat) that is often cited as one of the most romantic Chateaus in Bordeaux. The vineyards cover 52 hectares and are planted with 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. The wines are rich, silky and a little heady in hot vintages but are always well textured and elegant. The Chateau is one of the best performing Margaux estates and well deserves its 3rd growth classification. Blason d’Issan is the 2nd wine from the estate and is always amazing value
