Chateau La Croix Saint Georges 2019 is an elegant wine made predominantly from Merlot and supported with a touch of Cabernet Franc. It is a forward wine with dark cherry, plum, damson and cassis fruit along with cedar and flashy oak notes of coffee bean and chocolate. There is depth to the wine with earth notes and a fresh floral finish.

Chateau La Croix Saint Georges is one of several properties owned by Joseph Janoueix. The Chateau has 4 hectares of vines and only produces about 20,000 bottles per year. I don’t want to talk about it too much because it remains relatively good value and I’d like it to stay that way…..
