Boutari Kretikos is a charmingly soft and juicy red with bright cherry and strawberry fruit notes from the beautiful Greek island of Crete. The wine is made from a blend of two native grape varieties – Kotsifali and Mandilaria (Both new to me also!) and has a lovely balance of bright fruit, juicy acidity and fuller darker notes on the palate. Well worth trying.
